Message from Director
Welcome to the University of Virginia (UVa) Transportation Training Academy website. The UVa Transportation Training Academy was formed in January 2011 by the merger of two training programs: the Virginia Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) and the Virginia Transportation Professional Development Program (TPDP). The combined programs offer over 60 different workshops on transportation-related topics targeted at Virginia state and local government agency employees at all levels.
This site has been designed to provide you with easy-to-find information regarding the technical workshops we offer in the field of transportation. The Transportation Training Academy was established with one main goal: to provide practical, affordable, relevant training to our customers based on their needs. Naturally, to achieve this goal we need your feedback. So, we welcome any suggestions and recommendations that will make our program even more valuable to you.
