CTS well-represented at the ITS Virginia Conference

The Center for Transportation Studies (CTS) was well-represented at the 13th Annual ITS Virginia Conference and Exhibition, which was held April 24 - 25, 2007 at the Richmond Marriott. Dr. Brian Park presented a paper entitled: Emergency Vehicle Preemption: Minimizing Disruptions of Traffic Signal Coordination. (Ilsoo Yun, Matthew Best, and James Brennan were co-authors) Ramkumar (Ram) Venkatanarayana's paper was entitled: Automated Identification of Normal Traffic Patterns. (Dr. Brian Smith and Dr. Michael Demetsky were co-authors) Dr. Brian Smith's paper was entitled: Vehicle Infrastructure Integration – Enabling Improved Operations in Virginia. These papers are available for downloading on the ITSVA web site at http://www.itsva.org.

Many CTS faculty, staff, and students attended the conference.
