CTS Faculty Receives S. S. Steinberg Award
Nick Garber, the Henry L. Kinnier Professor of Civil Engineering, was honored this year with the 2006 S. S. Steinberg Award from the American Road and Transportation Builders Association. The award recognizes Garber's contributions to research and education in transportation, development, and construction.
The Steinberg Award is the latest in Garber's distinguished career. A member of the National Academy of Engineering, he has been honored by the Transportation Research Board, the Institute of Transportation Engineers, and the American Society of Engineers (Virginia chapter).
