Biographical Information

Stacey Reubush Diefenderfer is a Research Scientist at the Virginia Transportation Research Council specializing in the area of asphalt materials research. She received her B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1997 and 1999, respectively, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Virginia Tech. Her studies concentrated in the areas of civil engineering materials, pavement design and evaluation, and infrastructure condition assessment. Her research specialization is in the areas of asphalt binder and mixture characterization, evaluation, performance, and design. Ms. Diefenderfer is a registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
