Biographical Information

Saeed Eslambolchi is the Director of Research Administration at the Center for Transportation Studies. Mr. Eslambolchi oversees the day-to-day operations of the Center, including budgeting, financial reporting, resource planning, procurement, research grant compliance, payroll, as well as event planning and promotions. He’s also responsible for conducting research for the Transportation Research Council (VTRC), a joint partnership between the University of Virginia and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

Mr. Eslambolchi earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics in 1981 from University of North Carolina at Greensboro and in 1986, he received his MBA degree from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.

Mr. Eslambolchi has served over 11 years in senior management capacity with several organizations including SunTrust Bank (formerly, Crestar Bank)), UVA Darden Executive Education, and QualChoice of Virginia Health Plan, Inc. His professional management experience spans over 18 years in a wide range of industries including, computer, telecommunications, banking, health care, and higher education.
